ALL the Articles in the 1940's section were saved and donated by Charles Brookwell, Class of 1949 and WRSU First General Manager. 

All Members Past and Present owe a debt of gratitude to Mr. Brookwell for pushing forward and making WRSU - Rutgers University Radio a reality.

These clips showed that WRSU almost did not come to be. Only hard work, and perseverance made it happen. 

According those at the first broadcast, the first broadcast was recorded, but was lost in a fire at WCTC radio a few years after the broadcast. If by any chance you have any early WRSU recordings, will would greatly appreciate a copy. We will pay for all duplication costs.
