Mac Gorson
wrsufm.com received news that Maxwell "Mac" Gorson, one of WRSU's first on-air personalities passed away on September 27 at the age of 97. He was graduated from Rutgers College in 1949, and obtained a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1952. Mr. Gorson participated in early test broadcasts of WRSU-AM, hosting a segment entitled "Horsin' with Gorson". Here is a note from Mr. Gorson's son, Noah:
"My father passed away on September 27th – a memorial was held in Atlantic City, his birth place and the location of the Gorson family plot, I spoke, briefly, at the service and wanted you to know that his memories of his Rutgers years and time at the radio station were important to him and that I shared that with the many people present.  I thank you for reaching out to the family last year to convey WRSU’s appreciation for his work and the invitation to attend the 70th anniversary."

wrsufm.com thanks Dante Intindola GM 2018-2019 for passing this along to all wrsu alumni.
